Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data in connection with this website is:
Data processed
This website is a largely static information site. When you visit it, the web server technically processes the following data in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, requested address (URI), transferred data volume, and the technical details sent by your browser (user agent). When you use the contact form, we additionally process the email address you enter and your message (see “Contact via the form”).
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and embeds no third-party content (fonts are served locally as well). A consent banner is therefore not required.
Purposes and legal basis
Server log data is processed exclusively for the technical operation, security, and error analysis of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact via the form
When you submit the contact form, we transmit the email address you enter and your message to our server, which forwards them as an email to info@abuscom.com so that we can handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To prevent abuse and automated submissions, we briefly process your IP address and log the outcome, the IP address, and the email address provided for each submission – but not the content of your message. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in secure, abuse-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You are of course also welcome to contact us directly by email at info@abuscom.com.
Recipients and third-country transfers
To operate the website and deliver contact inquiries, we use carefully selected technical service providers that process personal data exclusively on our behalf and instructions: hosting and an email delivery service (SMTP2GO) for sending the form messages. This processing takes place within the EU/EEA; no data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA. No further sharing with third parties takes place.
Retention
Server log data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described in section 4 and is then deleted. Email correspondence is kept as long as required to handle the inquiry and to comply with statutory retention obligations.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it). To exercise your rights, simply email info@abuscom.com.
Changes
We will update this policy if the data processing on this website changes (for example, through new features). The version published here applies; the date of the last update is shown above.
